Our Judging Panel
We are pleased to introduce the esteemed panel of judges for the 2023 International Entrepreneurship Competition.
These judges have been carefully selected for their extensive experience and expertise in various areas of entrepreneurship, including business development, venture capital, marketing, and innovation. Their insights and guidance will be invaluable to the contestants as they showcase their innovative ideas and compete for the top prize.
Terry Anderson
Founder, 5 Strong Apparel and Co-founder, Peak Performers
MBA, Saint Francis University
Terry began as the COVID-19 Business Consultant at the Saint Francis University SBDC in June 2020. He was previously employed at the Center from 1999-2012 as a business consultant where he worked with over 700 clients assisting them with startup procedures, planning, marketing, and obtaining financing. Currently he works with small business negatively impacted by the Covid pandemic consulting on turnaround strategies, marketing, and assisting them with obtaining appropriate funding through the CARES Act and other sources.
Prior to returning to the SBDC, Terry served the last seven years as the Director of Juniata College’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and taught the Entrepreneurship curriculum for their Accounting, Business, & Economics department. As Director, Terry worked with students from all majors in planning, creating, and starting small businesses and managed the Center’s Seed Capital Fund providing startup funding to student startups.
Most recently, Terry started 5 Strong Apparel, an e-commerce business providing solutions of highly customized and personalized printed apparel and accessories for individuals, schools, businesses, and events.
Dr. Pai-Chun Chang, Ph.D.

Dr. Paichun Chang is a serial entrepreneur, inventor, and researcher with expertise in advanced technology, materials engineering, bio-medical, and semiconductor industries. He holds a B.S degree in Physics from National Taiwan University, a M.S degree in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D degree in Materials Science Engineering from University of California, Irvine.
As the CEO of Tripod Nanotech and co-founder of Greenway Revolution, DEUVTek, and Entax Biomed, Dr. Chang has founded and been involved with over ten start-up companies, showcasing exceptional leadership, management, and problem-solving skills. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Dr. Chang is a prolific inventor and researcher with a remarkable record of more than ten patents and thirty highly cited peer-reviewed journal articles. His work has been widely recognized and cited by fellow researchers in the field, further solidifying his reputation as a leading expert and innovator.
Dr. Paichun Chang is passionate about making a positive impact on society through innovation and has initiated a non-profit organization, Taiwan Digital Medicine Association, where he currently serves as CEO. His leadership has attracted significant attention in the digital health field.
Steve Crayne
Founder, Starting Gate Marketing

Steve Crayne developed a love for movies at a young age which led him to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing. After college, he moved to Los Angeles and negotiated a deal for the re-release of a film and wrote a foreword for a book. When the deal fell through, he joined Blockbuster Entertainment and played a significant role in building the company's retail brand. Later in his career, he became a Wix website developer and founded Starting Gate Marketing, which was named a top 100 Wix agency partner in 2022. His agency focuses on delivering high-quality web design services to clients of all types, from small businesses to award-winning entrepreneurs.
Dr. Wei-Chung Wang, Ph.D.

Wei-Chung is a serial entrepreneur, college professor, and experienced marketing and
finance professional. In addition to his experience in higher education, he is a Big 4
alumnus, a co-founder of a multinational software-as-a-service company (SaaS), the
founder of a business consultancy, and an integral part of the business community.
Prompted by the global pandemic in 2020, Wei-Chung founded a business intelligence
advisory firm, W.D. Strategies, that helps businesses enhance their competitive position in the post-Covid environment. W.D. Strategies provides its clients with digital marketing, finance, software integration and automation, and general business consultation services. W.D. Strategies has served clients in 15 countries and worked
closely with regional economic development efforts in multiple states.
Wei-Chung is an academically trained Economist and obtained both his MA and Ph.D. in
Economics from The University of California, Irvine.
